Will the New Sears Strategy Succeed or Fail?

June 23, 2016

The recent introduction of the DieHard Silver Touring A/S tire is part of a new Sears Holdings Corp. strategy that includes the Kenmore and Craftsman lines as well.

The company is not only expanding the Kenmore line of products, but also improving products like refrigerators, washers and dryers. Same with Craftsman, which is introducing "smart" garage door openers and improved tool storage.

“The addition of Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard connected products further improves our Connected Solutions offering,” says Ryan Ciovacco, president of the Consumer Electronics and Connected Living Division at Sears. “By integrating some of these products with our Sears Home Services business, the nation’s largest provider of home services, our members now have access to a one-stop shop for trusted connected home brands.”
