Dealer Tire Rolls Out Online Tire Buying Website Nationwide

June 23, 2016

Dealer Tire LLC has made its RightTurn.com consumer tire buying website available nationwide.

The company piloted the website in Dallas/Fort Worth and Cleveland.

The RightTurn.com website offers certified installation at more than 8,000 car dealerships nationwide, according to Jane Lamb, chief marketing officer. Tire deliveries are available from Dealer Tire’s network of 42 warehouses across the U.S. and Canada.

"While we carry thousands of different tire sizes from 18 different manufacturers, we make the tire purchase process simpler for consumers," says Lamb.

"RightTurn users will see that we recommend just a handful of tire options, each based upon their vehicle make and model, their vehicle manufacturer's original equipment tire specifications, and the conditions in which their vehicle is driven, such as annual mileage, weather and the type of driving they do."

Lamb says that RightTurn's all-in-one price includes free delivery to the service department of the consumer's local car dealership, as well as installation, which is scheduled at the time of purchase, for a one-stop, online tire shopping experience. The website also honors vehicle manufacturers' national consumer tire promotions.

Dealer Tire introduced its online retail arm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2012 and expanded into Cleveland and the Northeast Ohio market in 2013.

Dealer Tire is a family-owned company that was founded in 1999 by the owners of the former Mueller Tire & Brake, a Cleveland-based retail chain founded in 1918. Dealer Tire manages replacement tire and parts programs for 23 automotive original equipment manufacturers in the United States and eight in Canada. It serves more than 10,000 car dealerships from 42 distributions centers across the U.S. and Canada.
