Titan International Inc. is hosting four "ride ‘n’ drive" events and four tire auctions this summer, with 100% of proceeds benefitting regional Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapters. The events are in conjunction with regional farm shows and expos.
“In 2015 alone, we raised more than $193,000 for regional and state FFA chapters through our tire auctions at farm shows, and this year is expected to keep pace with that high momentum,” says Scott Sloan, agricultural product manager at Titan. “In addition to raising money for FFA, it also gives growers an opportunity to bid on Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires at a highly discounted price. It’s a win-win.”
Event-goers also are given the opportunity to participate in "ride ‘n’ drive" events to test the latest technologies from Goodyear Farm Tires, including Low Sidewall Technology (LSW), on a range of tractors and sprayers.
