TBC Brands LLC has expanded its commercial truck tire team. David Smothers has joined as field sales engineer and Dave Dugan as regional sales manager for the Midwest region.
“Both David Smothers and Dave Dugan bring significant industry experience in the truck tire segment to our growing sales team,” says Aaron Murphy, vice president of commercial truck tire sales.
“We look forward to their contributions and have the utmost confidence that their experience and knowledge of the industry will assist with the expansion of many of our product lines including Sumitomo, Sailun, and other TBR products while providing best-in-class services to our customers.”
With 19 years in the industry, Smothers has held several technical and engineering positions with Continental Tire the Americas LLC, and most recently was the field sales engineer for Double Coin Holdings Ltd. Smothers is based out of southern Illinois.
Dugan’s career spans more than 29 years of sales and management for tire manufacturers and organizations. Dugan resides in Memphis, Tenn.
