Goodyear Elevates Alexy to VP of Global Talent

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has promoted Amy Alexy, director of global talent and organizational capability, to vice president of global talent effective immediately.

Alexy will report to John Lucas, senior vice president and chief human resources officer. She will lead a combined organization that includes the global talent acquisition and talent and organizational capability groups.

"How we recruit, develop, motivate, and retain top talent determines our future success. Connecting all of our talent functions under Amy’s leadership will help Goodyear maximize the contributions and growth of all associates, both external hires and those we promote internally."

Alexy joined Goodyear in 2011 and brings experience from her five years leading talent management functions at Goodyear and several years prior to that, leading a combined global talent acquisition and talent management team at Diebold Inc. Prior to working for Diebold, she held a number of human resources and business development positions with The Timken Co.

She is a certified executive coach through Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management and holds her senior professional of human resources certification. She is a graduate of Walsh University with a bachelor's degree in communications and a graduate of Kent State University with a Master of Business Administration.
