Mighty Tire Wholesale Inc. kicked off its new “Great Escape” trip program for its dealer customers with a four-day trip to Los Cabos, Mexico.
More than 30 independent tire dealers attended the inaugural trip. Mighty Tire’s dealers and suppliers enjoyed included golf, fishing, ATV riding, spa experiences and gourmet international cuisine at the AAA Four Diamond resort Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort and Spa.
The company says it created the Great Escape program to build and strengthen relationships with its dealer customers. The program reinforces the company’s longstanding commitment to providing the support and services needed to ensure their success, according to John Ziegler, vice president of Mighty Tire.
“At Mighty Tire, we believe our customers’ success is very much our success as well, which is why we are so are committed to creating a business relationship that is based on friendship and support,” says Ziegler.
“At its core, our business is about people and relationships. It really is the root of all of our combined success, and we’re excited to see the ‘Great Escape’ program grow.”
Mighty Tire launched the program in February 2016. In addition to the “Great Escape,” Mighty Tire hosts an annual dealer meeting each spring to provide dealer customers and suppliers with an overview of emerging industry trends, as well as important networking and relationship-building opportunities.
The company’s second annual “Great Escape II” event is planned for February 2017 at the all-new Dreams resort in Playa Mujeres, Mexico.
“We had two rules on the trip – number one, have fun. Number two – refer back to rule number one,” said Ziegler. “The tire business can be tough, and the ‘Great Escape’ trip is one more way we can continue to support our customers in a more fun and relaxed environment.”
