Formula DRIFT presented by BlackVue saw a great turnout as fans packed the paddock and grandstands to see Round 2 at Road Atlanta in Braselton, GA.
Testing on Thursday and Friday was met with some wet weather, but the main event on Saturday night was greeted with clear skies and perfect conditions.
Round 2 was the first event of the year for the Pro 2 series, and Nexen got off to a great start with Nexen driver Jeff Jones taking the win and overall first place in the series standings.
Nexen’s Pro 1 drivers all competed well, led by a fourth place finish by Alec Hohnadell, and maintained Nexen’s overall first place standing in the Tire Championship points race.
The drivers all commented on how consistent the N’Fera SUR4 tire performed in both wet and dry conditions, especially the forward grip that it is able to provide.
The 2016 Formula DRIFT Pro Championship will continue to Round 3 on June 3-4 in Orlando, FL.
