Learn About Risks Related to Employees’ Use of Mobile Devices in Free TIA Webinar

March 23, 2016

A webinar on risks related to employees’ use of company and personal mobile devices is free to Tire Industry Association (TIA) members. The “Mobile Devices: Risks and Solutions” webinar begins at 2 p.m. (EDT) on March 29, 2016.

The webinar will be conducted by Enquiron as part of the Federated Employment Practices Network.

The webinar addresses the rising use of company and personal mobile devices by employees both in and out of the office and the associated risks, including security and privacy.

TIA says the webinar will also give insight into claims that could result from improper use of devices and policies and procedures, and provides practical, uncomplicated guidance that employers can use to help reduce their risk.

The presentation will be led by Robin Taylor Symons, co-managing partner of the Miami Gordon & Rees, LLP office and a member of the Labor and Employment, Insurance, and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.

Ms. Symons will focus on:

* exposures employers face relating to employee use of mobile devices;

* expectations employers have about personal information on mobile devices;

* types of claims that arise; and

* practical steps you can take to minimize these risks.

This webinar is especially recommended for compliance officers, CFOs, HR professionals, general counsel, internal auditors and risk managers. TIA members may register online.
