Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. (SRI) will establish three regional headquarters to centralize the supervision and management of its overseas offices and subsidiaries.
The new organizational changes are effective March 30, 2016.
Yasutaka Ii will be the general manager of the Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters.
Yutaka Kuroda will be the general manager of the Europe and Africa Regional Headquarters.
Satoru Yamamoto will be the general manager of the Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters.
Ii, Kuroda and Yamamoto also hold director and senior executive officer positions. Their new general manager roles are in addition to their current duties.
SRI owns Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc., which was known as Falken Tire Corp. until Jan. 1, 2016.
