James R. Smith Jr., the editor of Tire Review magazine since 1999, died unexpectedly on Feb. 18, 2016. He was 57.
Smith was the beloved husband of Maryellen (nee Zeitler); loving father of Jimmy (Shana) and Alex (Liz); cherished grandfather of Grayson and Lyla; son of Jean and the late James Sr.; and brother of Michael (Joni), Bill (Marci), and Kathy Forgan (Chris).
Friends may call at the Ferfolia Funeral Home, 356 West Aurora Rd. (Ohio Route 82), Sagamore Hills, OH 44067, phone number 330-467-4500. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 28, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, Feb. 29, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the All Saints Cemetery.
