Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. has appointed Richard Smallwood to executive officer of Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd.
Smallwood, who has served as CEO and president of Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. since April 2011, will continue to serve in that role. The North America business is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd.
His appointment will be introduced at the meeting of the board of directors scheduled for March 30, 2016.
