Family-owned and operated Tire Discounters recently opened its 100th store. The newest location in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. is the company's first in the state of Georgia.

Tire Discounters is No. 9 on the Modern Tire Dealer 100.

Located at 2925 Battlefield Parkway, the Fort Oglethorpe store features 7,900 square-feet, eight service bays and 12 employees. With this latest addition, Tire Discounters enjoys a five-state regional footprint, with a presence in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Georgia.

Tire Discounters built its business on giving its customers complimentary services that extend the life of tires and improve overall performance. Any new tire purchase (whether one, two, three, or four tires) includes:

  • Free Alignment for safer handling, longer lasting tires and improved gas mileage
  • Free Lifetime Tire Maintenance Package (includes lifetime rotation, balancing, and valve stems)

Tire Discounters also offers full menu of factory recommended maintenance services performed by ASE-certified technicians.

"We are extremely proud and thankful to reach this great milestone," says Chip Wood, founder and chairman of Tire Discounters. “Our faithful customers have been integral to our consistent growth over nearly four decades and we are excited to continue building by providing unmatched service and doing the right thing.”

Tire Discounters attributes its success to the culture it has developed, which attracts top employees. The company employs more than 1,100.

“We are committed to doing the right thing for our employees and investing in them, their development and their well-being,” says Sarah Stimson, executive vice president of talent development.
