Dave Crawford Joins Bobby's Tire and Auto Care in Virginia
Industry veteran Dave Crawford has joined Bobby’s Tire and Auto Care Inc. as president and chief operating officer. Bobby Cutchins, founder and now chief visionary officer, also announced another management change, and named Robby Cutchins as the new CEO.
“I started Bobby’s 34-years ago and feel that I have built the company to be the dominant retailer in Franklin and Emporia”, says Bobby Cutchins. “To continue to be the market leader, I feel that we need to grow and take the company to the next level. The plan has been in the works for a while, and realigning the management team will position us for growth in the coming years. The experience that Crawford brings to the company will provide Bobby’s with the leadership and direction needed to reach our objectives.”
Crawford, who has four decades of experience in the industry, has spent the last year-plus as CEO of The Hybrid Shop LLC. His career also includes time with American Car Care Centers, Merchants Tire in Manassas, Va., and American Tire Distributors Holdings Inc. and AM-PAC Tire Distributors Inc. as part of the Tire Pros dealer network.
Robby Cutchins is a pillar of the community. He serves as the head coach of the Franklin High School boys basketball team, and has been with Bobby’s for over 19 years. His new responsibilities will position him to be at the helm as the company grows and new locations are added.
Bobby’s Tire and Auto was founded in 1982 and provides quality tires and automotive service-repair-maintenance for consumers and small commercial-fleet drivers. Currently there are two locations in Franklin, Va. and Emporia, Va.
