Dunn Tire: "Fill ´em up!"

Dec. 10, 2004

Cheektowaga, N.Y.-based Dunn Tire Corp. will offer nitrogen tire filling at all of its 26 stores by the first of the year, Dunn Tire Chairman Randy Clark told moderntiredealer.com earlier today.

Dunn Tire began offering nitrogen filling last September at four or five outlets as part of a pilot program, according to Clark. The chain has since added the service to several other locations as consumer acceptance has grown.

Dunn Tire markets nitrogen fill "as a fuel savings benefit." It charges $5 per tire for the service.

Dunn Tire is the 40th largest independent tire store chain in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer data. It pulled down $41 million in sales last year.
