Nokian Tyres plc will eventually increase the number of passenger tires it builds at Matador´s plant in Slovakia to one million units.
Nokian wants to up output to between 300,000 and 500,000 units next year alone.
The companies´ new contract, which was signed earlier this month, expires at the end of 2009. Nokian and Matador´s first manufacturing agreement was inked in 2003.
