Nokian Tyres plc´s net sales for the third quarter totaled 141 million euros, a 7.9% increase.
For the first nine months of the year, Nokian´s net sales reached 391.8 million euros, while the company´s operating profit totaled 60.2 million euros.
"Demand for high-speed summer tires and winter tires continued to grow in Nokian´s main markets in the Nordic countries, Russia, Eastern Europe and North America," say Nokian officials.
The company says its winter tire sales "accelerated in the last weeks of September."
