Order Reprints

The Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Fla., will house the first annual convention of the Florida Automotive Trades Association (FATA) on July 12-13, 2002.

FATA was formed when the Florida Independent Tire Dealers and Retreaders Association merged with the Automotive Service Association of Florida earlier this year.

FATA's 2002 convention will offer a trade show, seminars, networking and social events. The keynote speaker for the annual meeting breakfast will be Steve Ford, "The Car Guy," an automotive consumer specialist, who will be speaking on "Servicing the machine of 2015."

Seminars will include topics such as government relations and automotive marketing.

For more information, contact Jill Mondo, FATA executive director, at (800) 434-8372.
