Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. shareholders have officially confirmed Norio Karashima's appointments as CEO and president of Yokohama Tire Corp. and corporate officer of Yokohama Rubber, which were first announced in May.
Karashima replces Koji Ikawa, who resigned his CEO and president positions at Yokohama Tire, plus his position as Yokohama Rubber managing director.
Ikawa remains chairman of Yokohama Tire.
Karashima, a 28-year Yokohama veteran, most recently served as general manager of OE Tire Planning.
