Del-Nat Tire Corp. has elected Dick Erickson, owner of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Sun Tire, to be its chairman of the board.
Erickson succeeds Tony Vetter, president of Bismarck, N.D.-based Northwest Tire Inc., and will serve the remaining portion of Vetter's term.
Erickson has been a Del-Nat stockholder for six years and has served on the company's board of directors since 2002.
Sun Tire operates 10 retail stores and one distribution center in northern Florida.
Del-Nat will hold its next round of elections at its annual stockholders meeting this November.
