Kamloops, B.C., Fountain Tire store upgrades location

July 7, 2004

A Fountain Tire outlet in Kamloops, British Columbia, will relocate to a former Sears Canada auto center next month. "We had simply outgrown our former location," says Rick Huber, the shop's manager.

The new outlet is 11,500 square feet and has 10 bays, with better accessibility and more parking space.

Sears Canada exited the tire and auto business this past spring, divesting 36 outlets to Kal Tire, President Tire and Active Green & Ross, and shuttering another 13 locations.

Fountain Tire has two shops in Kamloops.
