Michelin North America Inc.'s (MNA) Lexington, S.C., plant has applied for certification from the South Carolina Wildlife Federation.
The group sponsors a program called Wildlife and Industry Together, which encourages corporate land owners to integrate wildlife needs into their land management approach.
MNA's Lexington facility sits on 200 acres of land.
