Goodyear announces conference call for 1Q results

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will report its first-quarter 2004 financial results on Wednesday, June 16.

An investor conference call will be held at 9 a.m. EST that morning following the financial report, which will be posted on investor.goodyear.com.

Participating in the conference call will be Robert Keegan, chairman, CEO and president; and Richard Kramer, the company's new chief financial officier and executive vice president.

Kramer recently replaced Robert Tieken as CFO. Tieken retired on May 31.

Goodyear's stock was trading at $9.02 a share at the close of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Thursday. That compares to 52-week high and low share prices of $11.97 and $4.49, respectively.

The NYSE will be closed today in honor of former President Ronald Reagan, who's funeral will be held in Washington, D.C. today.
