The New England Tire & Service Association (NETSA) has nearly 260 members, an all-time high for the organization, according to Spencer Carruthers, the group's president.
Forty-two new members joined NETSA last year alone, he says.
"Group benefits are the most important (attraction). Tire Industry Association training also is very hot this year."
The association also is making plans for its annual meeting and trade show, tentatively scheduled for April 2005.
