The Illinois State Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association and the Indiana Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association have merged into a new group now called the Indiana /Illinois Tire Dealers Association (IITDA).

The executive vice president is John Buettner Sr. and the group's president is Mick Gilbert of Plymouth Tire & Service Center in Plymouth, Ind.
The IITDA is now planning its 19th annual trade show to be held March 3-5, 2005, at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Ind. The keynoter will be Bob Keegan, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s chairman and CEO.
