Michelin North America Inc. (MNA) is targeting the all-season high performance and sport compact markets with two new tires.
The Michelin Pilot XGT Z4 all-season high performance tire is available in 11 sizes with rim diameters ranging from 16 to 18 inches.
It contains three large circumferential grooves for water evacuation, outer sipes arranged in a vertical zig-zag pattern to enhance cornering and other features, according to MNA officials.
The Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 is designed for sport compact cars and comes in 19 sizes, ranging from 15 to 19 inches in diameter.
It targets vehicles like the Ford Focus SVT, Acura RSX, Volkswagon Golf GTI, Subaru WRX and other high performance cars.
