The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is offering collections and credit reporting help to its members through a deal with Newton & Associates Inc., a New Orleans, La.-based firm.
Members will be eligible for discounted rates for those services.
Newton & Associates is the fifth largest commercial collection agency in the United States, according to TIA officials.
It has offices throughout the U.S. and overseas.
"We will accomodate any TIA member request for specialized service," says Hal Ernest Jr., the company's senior vice president.
