Portland, Ore.-based tire distribution group Northwest Tire Factory LLC has added six new member-dealers since Jan. 1., bringing its total membership up to 159.
New members include Lewistown Tire Factory in Lewistown, Mont., Rock Springs Tire Factory in Rock Springs, Wyo., Battle Mountain Tire Factory in Battle Mountain, Nev., Seehorn's Tire Factory in Rockford, Wash., Winnemucca Tire Factory in Winnemucca, Nev., and Evanston Tire Factory in Evanston, Wyo.
Northwest Tire Factory also has installed a new computer system at its 123,000-square-foot warehouse in Portland and has replaced the distribution center's wood pallets with steel pallets and racks.
"We had our best year ever last year," says Nick Hodel, Northwest Tire Factory CEO. "Business is good."
Northwest Tire Factory is the ninth largest tire distribution network in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
