Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has added to its Lifeliner passenger and Discoverer light truck lines.
New to the Lifeliner line is the Lifeliner SLE Sport, a W-rated tire that "provides enhanced performance for the descriminating driver," according to Cooper officials.
Its compound contains chemically coupled silica and carbon black elements and its tread sports a directional pattern.
The SLE Sport is available in 40-, 45-, 50- and 55-series sizes that fit 16- and 17-inch wheels.
Cooper also has rolled out the Discoverer S/T in sizes that fit the Chevy Tahoe, Dodge Ram, Dodge Dakota, Nissan Xterra and similar vehicles.
The tire is designed for heavy duty and off-road applications, say Cooper officials.
