Logan, Utah-based Wholesale Tire Distributors (WTD) Inc. held its annual dealer meeting and trade show this past weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah.
WTD customers from Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada, Idaho and other western states in which the company operates attended the event, which started Friday night and lasted through Saturday evening.
Activities included several American Car Care Centers (ACCC) discussions that were directed by WTD CEO Larry Nicholls, one of ACCC's founding members.
Trade show participants included WTD tire suppliers Michelin Americas Small Tires, Falken Tire Corp., Continental Tire North America Inc., Hercules Tire & Rubber Co., TBC Corp. and Oliver Retreading Systems, plus other companies.
Supplier representatives also updated dealers on products and programs via a number of seminars throughout the day on Saturday.
The meeting finished with a Las Vegas-themed "sell-a-thon" event that night in which $45,000 in merchandise was given away to dealers.
