Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. will increase passenger, light truck and commercial truck tire prices anywhere from 3% to 5% depending on the tire model. The price increases will go into effect on May 1, 2004.
David Hudrlik, Kumho's vice president and director of sales, says rising raw material and shipping costs are the reasons for the increases.
Kumho last raised its tire prices in November 2003.
