Topeka, Kan.-based Performance Tire & Wheel has added an office and showroom to its existing facility.
"We were getting so large that we had to upgrade," says Justin Glasgow, Performance Tire & Wheel's vice president.
The upgrade represents a $200,000 investment.
Prior to that, the dealership had been selling tires out of a building that once served as an army barracks back in the 1950s.
Performance Tire & Wheel's product mix is 95% Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., according to Glasgow.
Cooper Chairman, CEO and President Tom Dattilo attended the updated store's ribbon-cutting last week.
