Marangoni Tread North America has signed Jacksonville, Ill.-based I.T.R. Inc. as its latest Ringtread precure dealer.
I.T.R., a sister company of Brahler’s Truckers Supply Inc., has been retreading for the last 12 years. Brahler’s recently elected not to renew its franchise agreement with Michelin Retread Technologies Inc., and the companies decided to consolidate all of the truck tire retreading under the I.T.R. banner.
Brahler's has been a truck tire retreader for 30 years, first as a Bandag franchisee and then five years with Michelin. Owner Richard Brahler said joining the Ringtread network allows him to "be free of franchise agreements."
Brahler said consolidating the retread operations into I.T.R., which is independently operated, will allow Brahler's to concentrate on the sales and service of its commercial products.
