Feb. 25, 2004

Pirelli Tire Inc., the Canadian subsidiary of Pirelli & C. SpA, has named Anthony Ensor to take over the duties of Nicola "Nicky" Ruccolo at the end of April. Ruccolo is leaving to pursue other interests, according to the company.

Ensor, a Canadian native, will run the company as vice president and general manager. He began his career with Pirelli Tire Inc. in 1985, and spent the last decade handling various Pirelli assignments in Europe, most notably Italy, Germany and England.

Ruccolo is leaving the company after 28 years of service in both the Canadian and American operations. He has held the position of president of Pirelli Tire Inc. since 1996.

"On behalf of Pirelli, I would like to thank Nicky for his many contributions to the success of the company in North America," says Guy Mannino, CEO and president of Pirelli Tire North America.

"He will be missed. But we are also looking forward to the return of Anthony Ensor to Canada, and a continuation of the strong growth initiated by Nicky in our neighbor to the north."
