Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. recently appointed William Hoban to manager, associated brand sales, and Robert Murphy to regional manager, Western region.
Hoban will be responsible for overseeing sales and profit goals and market development established for the Mastercraft, Starfire and Dean tire lines in the United States.
Hoban joined the company in 1995 as assistant manager of truck tire sales. He was promoted to western regional manager in 1998, the position he held until his most recent promotion.
In his new position, Murphy will be responsible for sales management, sales and profit goals and market development established for the Western region.
He joined Cooper Tire’s marketing department in March 1993 as a marketing assistant. He became a territory sales manager for the Southwestern region in January 1994 and was promoted to territory sales manager for the Midwestern region in 1995. In 2003, he was named territory manager for the Southern region, the position he held until his most recent promotion.
