Fayetteville, N.C.-based Briggs & Sons Tire has been named "Business of the Year" by the Fayetteville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The award is based on professional leadership, business growth, public service and "excellence in a particular field," according to Chamber officials.
"When it comes to innovation, the Briggs (family) continually seeks new ways to better serve their customers.
"Briggs & Sons has earned an outstanding reputation for high quality work and service, which has led to a large and loyal customer base."
Briggs & Sons, which is owned by Bob and Barbara Briggs, has 10 outlets in eastern North Carolina, plus a retread plant.
