Greensboro, N.C.-based Piedmont Truck Tires is now a Michelin Retread Technologies Inc. (MRTI) retreader.
Piedmont President Dan Rice says going with MRTI "will differentiate us in the marketplace."
Piedmont had been a Bandag retreader previously.
It is the 55th largest retreader in the country with two plants that produce more than 230 medium truck tire retreads and eight light truck tire retreads per day, according to Modern Tire Dealer's Top 100 U.S. Retreaders list.
