Pre-Q Rubber introduces deep five-ribbed precure design

March 23, 2002

Pre-Q Rubber Ltd. Co. recently added a new five-rib precure tread design to its line-up. The Titan Deep TD features an 18/32-inch tread depth in 8-inch and 8-5/8-inch widths.

Pre-Q's new tread is designed for use on radial or bias truck and school bus tires. The deep, five-rib design minimizes distortion of the grooves, according to the company.

The design also can be used on low-torque drive axle vehicles.

Pre-Q precure treads are produced near Mexico City, Mexico by Galgo. Pre-Q Rubber also distributes cushion gum, mold cure tread rubber, and other retreading products throughout most of the U.S. and Canada from its warehouse in Dallas, Texas.

Les Schwab Production Center distributes Pre-Q treads in the Pacific Northwest in accordance with a separate and continuing agreement.
