Michelin North America Inc.'s (MNA) Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring passenger tire line will be available in 36 sizes starting April 1.
The tire's initial selection will include 22 T-rated sizes and 14 H-rated sizes. V-rated sizes will be introduced eventually, say MNA officials.
The new Tiger Paw Touring tire comes with an 80,000-mile warranty and targets broad-line cars like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, plus minivans like the Dodge Caravan.
The product's T-rated sizes will replace the existing Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring TR line.
MNA officials say the tire is positioned "to capitalize upon the original equipment trend toward higher speed-rated fitments."
