Former National Tire Dealers and Retreaders Association (NTDRA) President Don Perry has passed away at the age of 70.
In addition to serving as NTDRA president, Perry also was former president of the California Tire and Retreaders Association and owned Pleasanton, Calif.-based Central Tire Distributors for 30 years.
A Naval pilot during the Korean War, Perry was involved with the Alameda County Sheriffs Department, the Palm Springs Police Department Aero Squadron, the Lions Club and other organizations.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nadine; three daughters; a son; and six grandchildren.
