Longtime tire industry veteran Tom Fettes of Berkeley Heights, N.J., died recently after suffering a heart attack. He was 63.
Fettes worked at Ganin Tire for 25 years. He ran Ganin's private brands division until the company sold off its private brands a few years ago. Most recently, he worked as an independent tire broker.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; five children: Tara, Andrew, David, William and Elizabeth; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 27. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory be made to Koinonia Academy, 1040 Plainfield Ave., Plainfield, NJ 07060.
