Fountain Tire opens store in Quesnel, B.C.

Dec. 15, 2005

Fountain Tire has opened a new location in Quesnel, British Columbia, to replace an older facility.

The Edmonton, Alberta-based tire retailer reports the new store has almost three times the square footage at 12,500 square feet. It has four mechanical bays and two drive-through truck bays.

"We wanted to open a facility that allows the residents of Quesnel, and the surrounding areas, to be served the way they they deserve," says Manager Gord Hearn.

The company offers Goodyear and Dunlop tires and mechanical services. It plans to hold a grand opening next spring.

Fountain Tire now has 139 locations in Western Canada.
