Jack Williams Tire's inaugural Trade Show a success

March 6, 2002

More than 390 people attended Jack Williams Tire's first ever Trade Show last weekend in Tannersville, Pa.

Attendees included the managers of the Moosic, Pa.-based retail chain's 20 stores and its wholesale customers, among others.

Len Lewin, president and COO of American Car Care Centers (ACCC) Inc., delivered the keynote address at the event. Jack Williams is an ACCC member.

"It was a great success for us," says Kathy Worman, Jack Williams Tire executive administrative assistant. "We made a lot of contacts."

The family-owned dealership, which sold its commercial and retread operations to Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. last year, was the 50th largest independent tire store chain in North America in 2001, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.

It sells the Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Goodyear and ACCC-distributed American brand, among other labels, and reported $43.5 million in sales during the year 2000.
