Bandag Inc. will designate two vendors with premium-level product status within its BASys Point of Sale Program.
The designation "is based on vendors' products robust integration with Bandag's BASys suite of products," according to Bandag officials.
It includes Tire Dealer System, a point-of-sale software system designed for independent tire dealerships that is marketed by MaddenCo Inc. and ASA TireMax and ASA TirePro, which are accounting and point-of-sale software products from ASA Tire Systems.
"The close technical collaboration between our companies means that Bandag dealers should experience a seamless interface between these vendors' accounting software and our BASys manufacturing system," says Dennis Hall, product manager, Bandag franchise IT systems.
"ASA has been interfaced with the BASys Manufacturing System for many years," says Wayne Croswell, ASA Tire Systems president.
BASys lets commercial tire dealers track retread inventories and materials usage, plus create billing and management reports.
