CTNA sets up on-line claims management system

Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) officials say the company's new on-line financial claims management system will "streamline the processing of financial claims for (its) business partners and eliminate a majority of the documentation which was previously submitted in hard copy format."

The system "gives CTNA the ability to address potential bottlenecks in our financial claim processing," says Ken Dumitru, director of business systems/e-commerce for CTNA.

It also is expected to help CTNA "identify and target areas to best improve customer service... and to assist us to address the source of claims through improvement in business processes."

CTNA says the system will eliminate the need to complete paper forms.
