MacDicken will leave TIA on Dec. 2

Nov. 15, 2005

Becky MacDicken, director of government affairs for the Tire Industry Association (TIA), is leaving Dec. 2 after five and one-half years with the association.

MacDicken is moving to Mechanicsburg, Pa., to work with the state government on a new initiative: financial education with the business community. "I will miss the friends I have made in this industry," she says.

Roy Littlefield, TIA's executive vice president, says that because of the importance of government affairs to its members, TIA "will certainly replace the position. We won't miss a beat, but we haven't decided if we will reorganize from within or bring somebody in."
