Tenneco Automotive Inc. has introduced new premium ceramic and metallic brake pads under its Monroe brand name.
The new Monroe Ceramics and Monroe Dyamics lines bring an additional 87 part numbers to Monroe's current coverage, say Tenneco officials.
The lines contain a special rubberized shim for noise reduction and "sensory locking plates" to hold friction material more securely than standard stamped steel backing plates.
