Arnco's QuikGel gets OE approval from Gehl Co.

Nov. 3, 2005

Arnco's QuikGel self-sealing polyurethane liner has received approval from Gehl Co. to protect tires from punctures on all Gelh and Mustang skid steer models.

According to Bob Giasson, Arnco's director of marketing and OEM sales, QuikGel provides protection from punctures up to 5/16-inch in diameter and is a lighter alternative to Arnco's line of polyurethane flatproofing fill materials.

The liner offers protection and sidewall coverage to the middle of the sidewall. It also has extra shoulder coverage for lateral punctures, optimized coverage in high-rish areas of the tire and maximum protection in the tread area versus the tread centerline, the company says.

It is centrifugally cast balanced to ensure a smooth ride and is retreadable.
