Suwanee, Ga.-based tire importer Maxxis International has formed a joint venture with TSY Co. Ltd. of Osaka, Japan, to manufacture ATV wheels in Newnan, Ga.
The new company, TSY America Inc., will start production this spring, according to Maxxis officials.
Maxxis also has expanded its marketing efforts.
The company recently signed title sponsorship deals with the British and Australian motocross championships.
And it has released a new video called "Riding Techniques of Team Maxxis" that offers how-to tips for cross country sport, cross country utility and motocross racers.
Maxxis was listed as one of the top 200 small companies in the world last October in the global edition of Forbes magazine.
