Ramona Tire & Service Centers is proud to announce that with the support and generosity of its customers, the Hemet, Calif.-based dealership raised more than $32,000 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
"On September 26th, we presented the American Red Cross with checks totaling $32,343.64," says Vice President Chris Wyborny.
On Sept. 6, Ramona Tire began the relief fund drive at its 14 stores located throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties. They began seeking donations from their customers, and matched them on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $10,000.
Ramona Tire is a Bridgestone/Firestone Associated Dealer, as well as a founding member of The Independent Tire Dealers Group. It has been in business since 1970.
