Modern Tire Dealer magazine has named Paul Zurcher its 2005 Tire Dealer of the Year. Zurcher is the founder of Monroe, Ind.-based Zurcher Tire Inc. and Best-One Tire & Service, one of North America's largest tire distribution networks with more than 250 locations and some $650 million in sales.
He is the 13th winner of MTD's Tire Dealer of the Year award, the most prestigious honor that an independent tire dealer can receive. The Dealer of the Year award is the latest in a long line of accolades that Zurcher has earned since he went into business in 1948.
As part of the program, MTD is donating $7,500 to Dreams to Reality, Adams County Foundation, Paul Zurcher's designated charity.
